The Tits: Round Two at Jet Set

TITS ROUND TWO

FSU Art Students League loves you and wants you to end the semester right so we’re planning an amazing art show with BYOTee screen printing, short films, and live music featuring DJ When. We want to showcase as much talent as we can so if you have any ideas just let us know.

We want to keep the even free, but we will need help raising funds to put this together, so check out our handmade market during First Friday, April 6 at the BFA Warehouse, and our ArtSale/YardSale/BBQ on April 14.

April 20 3-5pm at the BFA Warehouse

We have the place reserved till 10, but that’s when Jet Set will start selling food, so hang around.

Metamorphosis Show

Our next show will be at March First Friday (3/2/12) in Railroad Square.

We will again be showing in 623 Gallery, attached to 621 Gallery.

We’ll be taking submissions at the ASL meeting that Wednesday (at 6:15) and afterward at the BFA Warehouse.

The Tits Art Show will be at the Farside

Friday, December 9th from 8-12 pm

Featuring:

BEST artwork of the semester

(Bring submissions to the BFA Warehouse Thursday, Dec 8 from 6-10 pm)

LIVE screen printing

(Bring a shirt for some titty prints)

SWEET jams

(DJ When, Blue Jay, Yibn, and Send Away Stranger)

IT WILL BE THE TITS.

Tits Shirt Design Contest

We will hold a shirt design contest at the next meeting and the winning designs will be screen printed on shirts at the Tits show for donations. The designs can be no larger than 11×14 and must be monotone (one color) with no gradients or shading (cross-hatching and half-tone is okay).

December Show: “The Tits”

We’re having an awesome show at The Farside (next to the Engine Room on Gaines St.) in Decmeber!

At the Nov. 9 meeting, we decided that, as the show will be THE TITS, it is only natural that it should be called THE TITS. We’ll be showcasing our best work from the semester!

We’re looking for bands to play, so email fsuasl11@gmail.com if you have any suggestions.

As of now, the time slot is 8pm-12am. More information soon!

12×12 Show

Our 12×12 Show will be at the Nan Boynton Gallery, part of 621 Gallery, in Railroad Square Art Park. It will open at First Friday, November 4th.

We hope to receive all submissions by October 30th, so that we can hang the show. All submissions will go on sale to help raise money for ASL!

If you are interested is working on a 12×12″ board and have not gotten one yet, please contact us so we can get one to you. Teresa will keep the extras in her studio (at the BFA Warehouse, Railroad Square), but we will need your name and email address if you take one so we make sure we get it back.
